Justice écologique et adaptation au changement climatique : le cas des petits territoires insulaires

Abstract

This article focuses on climate change adaptation policies in the case of small island territories. It allows identifying situations of justice applied to small islands subject to sea-level rise. Considering the case of a state constituted by two islands and the one of two island states, the analysis of the principles of justice is carried out using two approaches of justice – situated justice and global justice. Finally, we propose the framework of a global ecological justice which can take into account both intra and intergenerational dimensions of justice.
