A new Graeco-Egyptian magical amulet of Anguipes with an apotropaic inscription Recently, Graeco-Roman magical amulets have gained importance in scholarship, (1) informing more broadly not only epigraphic studies, but also the study of the ancient world. In this paper, we present an unpublished magical amulet inscribed with a Greek text displaying Semitic and Egyptian influences.
