OSKAR Bordeaux: why?

OSKAR Bordeaux (Open Science Knowledge ARchive) aims to support the open science movement and offer an alternative to dominant commercial editorial models.

OSKAR Bordeaux makes it possible to host, keep, improve and make accessible all types of scientific publications from the Bordeaux research community (researchers, teacher-researchers, staff, etc.)

It is an interoperable institutional open repository, notably with HAL, and searchable by other repositories.

OSKAR Bordeaux: for whom?

The submission of full-text publication in OSKAR Bordeaux are about the five higher education institutions of Bordeaux: the University of Bordeaux, the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne, Sciences Po Bordeaux, Bordeaux INP, and Bordeaux Sciences Agro, as well as public scientific institutions and technological partners (EPST).

All the joint research units (UMR) and the research teams (EA) affiliated with these five higher education institutions and to the EPST partners and supervisors are part of the OSKAR scope.

Examination of the contents of OSKAR Bordeaux is free, open and accessible to all.

OSKAR Bordeaux: how?

The launch of OSKAR Bordeaux started in February 2020 and will gradually be opened up to all research units.

The OSKAR Bordeaux team is available to support your research team in setting up the open access publication policies, in accordance with the recommendations issued by the supervising authorities.

The OSKAR Bordeaux team is also available for any individual questions relating to the free access of your scientific publications.

OSKAR Bordeaux is implemented by the University of Bordeaux in partnership with the company Atmire using the Open Source software DSpace.
