dc.descriptionProtein-protein interactions (PPIs) are important in all aspects of cellular function and play a central role in development of different pathological conditions including cancer, inflammation, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, osteoporosis, infection, etc. Developing small molecules that modulate protein-protein interactions is difficult due to such factors as the large interfacial areas and the lack of well-defined binding pockets. Nevertheless, there has been important progress in this endeavour
dc.description.abstractEniPPI TreeTM library was designed using decision tree algorithm based on several molecular shape and functional group descriptors. iPPI AnalogsTM library was prepared by similarity search (ECFP4 fingerprints, minimum Tanimoto index is 0.4) with known active PPI inhibitors from TIMBAL database.
