dc.description.abstractEnThe Observatory of Bordeaux has been part of the International VLBI Service for Geodesy and Astrometry (IVS) since 1999 when this service was installed. The role of the IVS is to establish terrestrial and celestial frames, to monitor the Earth orientation, and to promote the use of the VLBI technique. In this framework, we conduct routine VLBI analyses to monitor the position, physical structure and astrometric suitability of the extragalactic sources that define the International Celestial Reference Frame (ICRF). Additionally, we are also in charge of the VLBI segment for the yet-experimental analyses that combine VLBI, SLR, LLR, GPS and DORIS observations at the raw observation level with the unique multi-technique software GINS developed by the CNES in Toulouse
