dc.description.abstractEnThe formation and early evolution of planets and of planetary systems has emerged in the last decade as a major new inter-disciplinary research field, stimulated by dramatic new discoveries from astronomy, from new precision measurements of the Earth and other bodies in the Solar System, and from continuing gains in computational power to carry out sophisticated numerical simulations. The conference aims to bring together leading experts from the many different research disciplines involved to discuss their perspectives on formation and evolution of planetary systems.
