MFP (Laboratoire Microbiologie Fondamentale et Pathogénicité) - UMR 5234
L'objectif du laboratoire de Microbiologie Fondamentale et Pathogénicité (MFP) est d'accroître les connaissances générales, scientifiques et fondamentales, sur les interactions entre des agents pathogènes (virus, bactéries, parasites et champignons) et leurs hôtes (mammifères et insectes vecteurs), liées à la réplication des microorganismes et au développement de la maladie. Le but final est de comprendre les conséquences des interactions moléculaires et métaboliques à différents niveaux, depuis les aspects les plus fondamentaux jusqu'à l’épidémiologie. Le laboratoire MFP est composé de 6 équipes dont les thèmes sont: "variabilité, réplication et mobilité des génomes viraux et bactériens", "dynamique intracellulaire des structures sous virales", "biogénèse du cytosquelette chez les trypanosomes", "métabolisme intermédiaire des trypanosomes", "Candida et pathogénicité" et "biologie moléculaire des machines bactériennes".
