This paper presents a generalizable method to design a simulation model of a digital control for power electronic converters with the objective to optimize computational costs. The final motivation of this research is to study the possibility of using Low-voltage Direct Current in energy distribution for future applications of domestic and commercial grids for efficiency purposes. The present analysis is focused on taking into consideration the influence of a digital control in the simulation of a power electronics converter, without the need of Hardware-In-The-Loop techniques, which can be expensive, with the objective of finding an optimal computational engine. The proposed method uses the Tustin transform approximation to create discrete control laws from their continuous counterparts. To demonstrate its interest and performance, the method is applied in the control of a front-end single-active bridge AC/DC converter using PLECS software to build the simulation models.< Réduire
