The documents presented in this book are due to Edourd Bourciez. E Bourciez had given to translate in their local language the parabola of "The prodigal son" to all the teachers of the academy of Bordeaux, whether it is out of Basque or Gascon. This was held in the last of the 19th century. The translations out of Basque are given only here, i.e. the 150 versions collected in the French Basque Country. <br />In this chapter, one finds the foreword, the introduction, the bibliography, the list of the teachers who provided the translations and the French text of "The prodigal son".< Réduire
