Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are made of microsensor nodes disseminated in wide and inaccessible environments. As a result, autonomy is a key issue to ensure microsensor node functioning. Thus, researches are carried out to increase it, like design of ultra-low power specific components, development of energy efficient communication protocols and energy harvesting consideration. However, the difficulty remains the choice of the energy sources and components in agreement to the application requirements. In this paper, we present a simulation tool dedicated to compare microsensor configurations for the design of WSN embedding energy harvesters with an autonomy target. The developed tool aims to specify the design by exploring a space of solution architectures for autonomous microsensor according to application requirements. Moreover, it constitutes a way to optimize the selection of the node components by studying their impact on autonomy.
