| dc.description.abstractEn | This work demonstrates the feasibility of using an electrode in direct contact with tissue as a coil for inductive power transfer. A theoretical model for the coil in direct contact with tissue is presented and validated through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations and measurements. A coil-electrode was designed and used to implement a proof-of-concept system. In measurements, 6 mW were successfully transferred through the coil-electrode while adhering to safety limits. | |
