| dc.description.abstract | Le dossier marque les vingt ans de la revue scientifique Champ Pénal/Penal Field. La préparation de ce numéro anniversaire a été l’occasion de revenir de façon réflexive sur deux décennies de productions scientifiques et d’évolutions éditoriales. Ce bilan a notamment permis d’identifier en creux une série de thèmes et d’enjeux peu ou pas abordés dans les publications, et pourtant signifiants pour la revue tout en étant structurants dans les sociétés contemporaines. Une fois ces « oublis » identifiés, il s’est justement agi de s’y confronter plutôt que de se contenter d’en faire le constat et de les déplorer. C’est là l’ambition et l’originalité de ce dossier atypique qui traite de criminalités environnementales, d’intelligence artificielle et de surveillance algorithmique, ou encore d’histoire conceptuelle des crimes internationaux tels que le terrorisme. Ainsi, à rebours d’un simple exercice d’autocélébration collective, un tel dossier constitue certes une occasion toute trouvée pour se réjouir du chemin parcouru depuis 2004, mais il représente aussi et surtout une opportunité pour préparer la suite. | |
| dc.description.abstractEn | This special issue marks the twentieth anniversary of the academic journal Champ Pénal/Penal Field. It represents an opportunity to take a reflective look back at two decades of scientific production and editorial developments. In particular, this review has enabled us to identify a series of themes that have received little or no attention in our publications, yet which are significant for the journal as well as having a structuring effect on contemporary societies. Once these ‘omissions’ had been identified, it was a matter of confronting them rather than simply noting and deploring them. This is the ambition and originality of this atypical special issue, which deals with environmental crime, artificial intelligence and algorithmic surveillance, and the conceptual history of international crimes such as terrorism. As a result, such a special issue is certainly a perfect opportunity to celebrate collective work since 2004, but it is also, and above all, an opportunity to prepare for the coming years. | |
