In modern global economy, manufacturing industries should confront challenges to keep leadership in a competitive market. Mass production and previous methods and tools to improve design process are not sufficient to bring relevant added value. Nowadays the main challenge is to innovate with new products and services. To keep the line in the short time-to market, we focus our effort on usage innovation dynamic. In this paper, we propose to manage usage information along entire lifecycle product and service. Usage information is a great source to improve product/service and initiate new ideas to innovate. That's why our main objective is to develop a ULM system (Usage Lifecycle Management). ULM system will complete current PLM platform (Product Lifecycle Management). Thus, improvement and added value are possible, not only thanks to customer's usage needs but also stakeholder's usage needs.
