En | Matthias Kern (1991) proposed ceramics as an infrastructure material and revolutionized the bonded bridge with this material, which exhibits adhesive capabilities. Since then, this therapeutic approach has continued to evolve, both in its design (cantilever geometry) and in the ceramics used. Success rates for incisal restorations are 100% for both zirconia and lithium disilicate-reinforced glass-ceramics. But then, which material to choose? Which supporting tooth to prioritize for these restorations? Which approach (conventional palatal or vestibular)? Through an original clinical case of complex rehabilitation involving both arches, we present a single-wing bonded zirconia bridge with conventional canine support for the replacement of tooth 12 and a single-wing bonded glass-ceramic bridge with vestibular canine support for the replacement of tooth 32. We will provide arguments regarding the relative appropriateness of using these two materials, the choice of the supporting tooth, and the infrastructure geometry.
