À partir d’une ethnographie comparée de 17 ronds-points répartis dans 7 départements, cet article décrit comment les formes d’occupation des ronds-points ont permis de se renouveler en changeant de nature, pour surmonter les épreuves de force locales, malgré une répression soutenue. | |
| dc.description.abstractEn | Arising from a protest against a tax on petrol, the “Gilet Antoine Bernard de Raymond Jaune” (Yellow Vest) revolt has proven to be unusually long-lived. How can we explain this apparent paradox of a revolt that becomes long-lasting ? Based on a comparative ethnographic study of 17 roundabouts spread across 7 départements, this article describes how the forms of occupation of the roundabouts has allowed the movement to renew itself by changing its nature in order to overcome local shows of strength, this despite unrelenting repression. | |
