| dc.description.abstract | L’une des clés de la longévité du système Zanu-PF et du patronage de Mugabe, comme de l’obstination de l’élite du pouvoir à s’y accrocher, réside dans le contrôle de l’État comme source directe et indirecte d’enrichissement, dans la phase dirigiste des années 1980, mais aussi dans le cadre de la libéralisation économique de 1990 à nos jours. Le discours et la pratique de l’africanisation de l’économie ou l’affairisme en RDC sur fond de guerre participent de ce projet d’accumulation de la bourgeoisie d’État émergente. | |
| dc.description.abstractEn | A key factor in Zanu-PF’s domination and Mugabe’s patronage, as well as in the determination of the power elite to stick to it, lies in the opportunities for self-enrichment, both direct and indirect, offered by state control. This applies equally to the command economy of the 1980s and to the liberalization which took place from 1990 onward. The ideology and practice of economic indigenization, and shady business deals in war-torn DRC, are part and parcel of the drive towards accumulation of the emergent state bourgeoisie. | |
