| dc.description.abstract | la géographie sociale met l'accent sur les interactions de rapports sociaux et spatiaux. Elle accorde une place privilégiée aux acteurs, à leurs représentations, plus largement à l'action sociale et aux systèmes territorialisés qu'elle constitue. Sur la base d'une nouvelle définition des objets de la recherche (lieux, territoires, paysages, mais aussi effets socio-spatiaux de fragmentation, de ségrégation, d'inégalité et de distinction), elle a contribué au renouveau global de la géographie contemporaine, à son incontestable socialisation. Elle offre aussi un ensemble de problématiques et de méthodes utiles pour l'aménagement du territoire et le développement territorial. | |
| dc.description.abstractEn | The purpose of social geography is to emphasize the interactions between social and spatial relationships. A paramount role is given to actors and their representations, and more widely to social action and territorialized systems. On the basis of a new definition of research objects (places, territories and landscapes, as well as socio-spatial effects of fragmentation, segregation, disparity and distinction), social geography has contributed to the global revival of contemporary geography and to its undeniable socialisation. It also offers a wide range of problematics and methods that are useful for territorial planning and development. | |
