dc.description.abstractEn | Isotopic distributions and recoil velocities of spallation residues produced in p+Fe reactions at several energies (300, 500, 750, 1000 and 1500 MeV) have been obtained recently using the reverse kinematics methods at GSI. The measured isotopic cross-sections allow calculating directly the chemical composition modifications expected in ADS windows after one year of operation while the recoil velocities can be used to assess the number of atom displacements (DPA). Results at different bombarding energies will be shown and compared to calculations performed with LAHET3, using standard models (actually the Bertini-Dresner combination) or the new INCL4-ABLA model (to be presented in this conference) recently implemented. Estimation of the contribution due to back-scattered particles from the target will be also discussed. | |
