dc.description.abstractEnWe present a formalism to study the isospin content of a nuclear state in the framework of the Higher Tamm-Dancoff Approximation. This formalism is then applied to the description of even-even N = Z nuclei. Finally a schematic two-level model provides some insight into the isospin-mixing mechanism at work and the impact of the pairing correlations on the isospin-mixing parameter.
