| dc.description.abstractEn | The current study focuses on gender agreement within the determiner phrase in the first stages of acquisition of Spanish as a third language by Basque/French bilingual children. Our objective is twofold: (1) to investigate the effects of variables usually related to gender, with special attention to morphophonology, the use of a default gender and the analogical criterion, and (2) to explore crosslinguistic influence through the most commonly studiedfactors in the field of TLA, namely, typology, use and order of acquisition. We present the results of a written picture description task that is part of a larger, longitudinal study. | |

| dc.description.abstractEs | Este estudio se centra en la concordancia de género dentro del sintagma determinante en las etapas iniciales de adquisición del español como lengua tercera (L3) por parte de niños bilingües francés/euskera. Nuestros objetivos se articulan en torno a dos ejes: (1) investigar los efectos de variables generalmente relacionadas con la concordancia de género, como la morfofonología, el criterio analógico y el género por defecto, y (2) explorar la influencia interlingüística a través de factores como la tipología, el uso y el orden de adquisición. Presentamos los resultados de una prueba escrita de descripción de imágenes desarrollada en el marco de un estudio longitudinal. | |
