dc.description.abstractEnImproved maritime pine seed production is facing major difficulties such as invasive pests or climate change leading to a decrease in seed production, or such as pollen contamination from surrounding non-improved stands having a negative impact on the genetic value of the produced seeds. In B4EST project, we are testing on a small scale a greenhouse seed orchard, to improve the quality and quantity of seed production.
