| dc.description.abstract | Ce dossier s’attache à faire le point sur les avancées de la recherche sur un thème qui ne cesse, depuis plus de vingt ans, de gagner en visibilité : le travail des migrants et des immigrés dans l’agriculture intensive. Les articles traitent d’une catégorie sociale qui s’est généralisée dans de nombreuses régions du monde et qui constitue à la fois une catégorie de migrants et une catégorie de travailleurs. Partant, cette catégorie est aussi pertinente pour interroger l’évolution des régimes migratoires (Martin, 2000) que pour prendre la mesure des effets des transformations du capitalisme productif sur les relations de travail (Moulier-Boutang, 1998). Mais elle est surtout éclairante pour comprendre la conjonction entre les deux. | |
| dc.description.abstractEn | This topical collection aims to take stock of the state of research on a topic that has been gaining visibility for over twenty years: migrant and immigrant labour in intensive agriculture. The articles address a social category that has become more widespread in many parts of the world and that is both a category of migrants and a category of workers. This category is therefore just as relevant to an examination of the evolution of migration regimes (Martin, 2000) as it is to the assessment of the effects of transformations of productive capitalism on labour relations (Moulier-Boutang, 1998). But it is particularly enlightening for an understanding of the intersection between these issues. | |
