| dc.description.abstractEn | This article contains a brief compilation of the Iberian inscriptions discovered since 1990, theyear in which Jürgen Untermann published the third volume of the Monumenta LinguarumHispanicarum, the reference catalogue for Iberian epigraphy. The second part of the paper containsa series of methodological reflections on the problems posed by the study of the contactsbetween languages, the evidence for which is fragmentary, as the consistently sparse data and thedifficulty in understanding the Palaeo-Hispanic languages require the application of a theoreticalframework and diverse analytical methods to advance our knowledge of linguistic contacts andbilingualism. The difficulties are illustrated by the study of the finds from Lower Aragon and,more specifically, the corpus of inscriptions from the area of Alcañiz. In the conclusion an assessmentis made of the information contributed by the new data, as well as of some of the challengesthe research has to face up to. | |

| dc.description.abstractEs | En este artículo se lleva a cabo una breve recopilación de las inscripciones ibéricas aparecidasdesde 1990, año en el que se editó el tercer volumen de los Monumenta Linguarum Hispanicarumde Jürgen Untermann, catálogo de referencia de la epigrafía ibérica. En la segunda parte deltrabajo, se realizan una serie de reflexiones metodológicas sobre los problemas que plantea el estudiode los contactos entre lenguas atestiguadas de forma fragmentaria, pues los siempre escasosdatos así como la difícil comprensión de las lenguas paleohispánicas exigen la aplicación de unmarco teórico y diversos métodos de análisis para avanzar en el conocimiento de los contactoslingüísticos y del bilingüismo. Las dificultades se ilustran con el estudio del material procedentedel Bajo Aragón y, más concretamente, con el corpus de inscripciones procedentes del entornode Alcañiz. Por último, se incluyen unas conclusiones, en las que se recoge una valoración dela información aportada por los nuevos datos y también algunos de los problemas a los que seenfrenta la investigación. | |
