In this paper, we present a work-in-progress exploratory study for determining movement cues characteristics of Stimulus Evaluation Checks (SECs) responses in Scherer's Component Process Model (CPM). This study integrates itself in our research on movement-based emotion recognition for augmenting ballet dance. The experimentation described in this article was designed in two parts. The first part produced a corpus of scenario-driven, acted affective sequences recorded both on video and using a motion capture system. The second part should lead to a set of movement cues characterizing some SEC responses in Scherer's CPM, to be integrated in an existing emotion recognition system, called eMotion.Read less <
