Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a common cause of community-acquired pneumonia in children and young adults. It is responsible of a broad array of extrapulmonary manifestations, the most severe affecting the central nervous system. We report a challenging diagnosis of macrolide-resistant M. pneumoniae-induced Bickerstaff encephalitis in a 16-year-old man.Read less <
