| dc.description.abstractEn | We study the motivations and consequences of the introduction of an event variable in the arguments of a predicate and showed that this approach proves superior to concurrent approaches such as those in which events are considered as elements to which a sentence refers. It is argued that the best-suited tool to construct the object the event variable refers to is Hilbert's ε function. | |
