Two experiments of urban scintillometry were performed recently to study the SCINDAR (SCINtillation Detection And Ranging) Cn(2) profiler performance on a composite urban-forest composite landscape. Several improvements in data processing are reported: the choice of the spatial discretization of the profile and the hyper-parameters adjustment for Cn(2) regularization. As a result, the SCINDAR provides horizontal Cn(2) profiles with a few hundred meter resolution. The distributed Cn(2) values along the optical path are estimated every minute with small error. Their variability is shown to be consistent with the height of the line of sight above ground and with the land use.< Leer menos
