| dc.description.abstractEn | We study the cumulative data of cases reported during March 2020 of COVID-19 infections in Chile, which gives us valuable information to establish parameters to provide the estimation of unreported cases of virus carriers. We implement the mathematical model proposed by Liu et al. [5], in the Chilean reality, in order to estimate the cases of individuals infected with this new coronavirus that have not been reported, taking into account the existence of unreported cases of; infected individuals presenting mild symptoms and cases of asymptomatic individuals carrying the virus. | |

| dc.description.abstractEs | Estudiamos los datos acumulativos de casos reportados durante marzo de 2020 de contagios por COVID-19 en Chile, que nos brinda información valiosa para establecer parámetros para proveer la estimación de los casos no reportados de portadores del virus. Implementaremos el modelo matemático propuesto por Liu et al. [5], en la realidad Chilena, con el fin de realizar una estimación de los casos de individuos contagiados con este nuevo coronavirus que no han sido reportados, tomando en cuenta la existencia de casos no reportados de; individuos contagiados que presentan síntomas leves y casos de individuos asintomáticos portadores del virus. | |
