The objective of this journal’s issue is to elucidate the claims of Indigenous peoples by approaching them through the prism of spatial justice. Also, we hope to contribute to the long-term reflections developed by the journal on the concept of spatial justice, by examining the meaning it may have for Indigenous peoples. The contributions collected here deal with South Africa, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada (particularly Quebec, but also the Vancouver area), the United States (including the Hawaii archipelago), Mexico, India, and New Zealand, as well as the particular spaces represented by the UN bodies in Geneva and New York. They thus cover all of the continents concerned by the struggles of Indigenous peoples, with, however, a majority of papers discussing Indigenous issues in the Americas.< Leer menos
