Les développements analytiques que proposent North et ses collègues se focalisent sur le rôle des modèles mentaux. Ils suivent cependant le tournant cognitiviste des sciences sociales et délaissent les émotions. L’article porte sur les apports de la pensée philosophique de John Dewey à une conception institutionnelle qui intègre la dynamique des émotions pour enrichir la conception de l’action et l’analyse du lien entre les institutions et l’individu. | |
| dc.description.abstractEn | Neo-institutional analysis, and in particular that of Douglass North, has attempted to return to the micro foundations of institutions. The analytical developments proposed by North and his colleagues focus on the role of mental models. However, they follow the cognitivist turn of the social sciences and let aside emotions. The article examines the contributions of John Dewey’s philosophical thought to an institutionalist conception that integrates the dynamics of emotions to enrich the conception of action and the analysis of the link between institutions and the individual. | |
