The conquest of the Iberian Peninsula brought new models of apprehension of the landscapes and territories according to Roman models and ideology. This led to putting models of Hellenistic Roman architecture in the Iberian Peninsula. The brief examples we want to show are of the following cities: Emporiae is the most relevant example of Greco-Roman contact in the peninsula. Tarraco was the praesidium and the first caput of Hispania. Corduba is the best example of Foundation Walls. Carteia was the first HispanoRoman colony. We will see how the first Roman urban settlements of Hispania expressed the social changes and identity in the Roman Republican walls
