| dc.description.abstract | Qu’adviendrait-il demain si une nouvelle pandémie intervenait dans un contexte alimentaire mondial moins favorable que celui de 2020 ? Ce chapitre propose une analyse des systèmes agricoles et alimentaires bousculés par la pandémie en 2020 selon trois types de territoires – excédentaires, importateurs et déficitaires – à laquelle s'adosse un exercice de prospective. Ce dernier projette trois images du monde : un nouveau chemin multilatéral de survie et d’espérance ; des impasses géopolitiques et une « léopardisation » du monde, c’est-à-dire un boulevard de tensions, un monde du chacun pour soi et du chacun chez soi. Ces futurs agricoles et alimentaires sont présentés à partir d’un détonateur commun : une nouvelle crise sanitaire lors des Jeux olympiques de 2024. | |
| dc.description.abstractEn | What will happen tomorrow if a new pandemic emerges in a less favourable global food context than 2020? This chapter provides an analysis of the agricultural and food systems disrupted by the pandemic in 2020 according to the situation in three types of territories (oversupply, imports and loss-making). This analysis is backed by a foresight exercise that proposes three world scenarios: a new multilateral path of survival and hope; geopolitical dead ends and a “leopardisation” of the world increased tensions in a world where everyone just fends for himself or where everyone stays in his own country. These agricultural and food futures are presented from the perspective of a common trigger: a new health crisis during the 2024 Olympic Games. | |
