| dc.description.abstractEn | In 1834, José María Blanco, a native of Quito, accompanied the President of the Peruvian Republic on a tour of the Andes. The conditions of the official trip, the vision of the Sierra, the relations with the Iquichanos with Huachaca, and the custom of the quillis are the aspects that will be studied here from a testimony in Spanish without literary pretensions. The perception of mobility, of space and of men, the representation of the Other will be the axes of this contribution to the history of republican Peru. | |

Las condiciones del viaje oficial, las etapas, la visión de la Sierra, las relaciones con los iquichanos acaudillados por Huachaca, y la costumbre de las quillis son los aspectos que se estudiarán aquí a partir de un testimonio en español carente de pretensiones literarias. La percepción de la movilidad, del espacio y de los hombres, la representación del Otro serán los ejes de esta contribución a la historia del Perú republicano. | |
